This specially curated cruise immerses Antara’s guests in an unforgettable journey.

Day 1
EMBARKATION: 12:00 PM
ARRIVE KOLKATA, EMBARKATION – FULIA (L/D)

Midday embark the ship in Kolkata. Welcome and safety briefing followed by lunch onboard. Depending on tide timings we will sail upstream past the city of Kolkata seeing the heritage monuments along the river including the Howrah Bridge and other iconic bridges towards Fulia.

Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas

Day 2
FULIA – BANDEL (B/L/D)

After breakfast visit the weaving village of Fulia that specializes in a combination of jacquard and jamdani saree weaving. Return to ship and sail to Bandel. Post lunch visit the Hooghly Imambara, a famous Shiya pilgrimage center that provides housing for pilgrims as well as classrooms.

Day 3
BANDEL – CHANDERNAGORE – SERAMPORE (B/L/D)

A morning sail enjoying breakfast brings us to Chandernagore which was established as a French colony. Post lunch explore the colonial buildings along the promenade, including the former French governor's residence, now converted into a museum that features items depicting life during that period. Also, visit the Sacred Heart Church. Return to the ship and sail to Serampore. Post lunch walk in the old quarters to see the St. Olav's Church, Danish Tavern, and other Danish heritage monuments. Enjoy a High Tea at the Danish Tavern.

Day 4
DISEMBARKATION: 03:00 PM
SERAMPORE – KOLKATA DISEMBARK (B/L)

Sailing through the morning enjoying breakfast we arrive in Kolkata. Following lunch disembark and transfer to the airport for onward journey.

  • The itinerary may be readjusted due to local conditions and days of the week, to avoid closure of monuments/museums. Last-minute sailing adjustments may also occur. The onboard tour staff will announce or post the exact time for each activity.
