KOLKATA, EMBARK – MANGALDWEEP
DAY 1
Arrival late afternoon at the Kolkata Millennium Jetty for embarkation. Welcome and safety briefing. We then begin our journey sailing to Mangaldweep – an island situated on river Hooghly ( a part of Ganga) where the wonderful landscapes, pleasant weather, cool breeze just make this place a perfect nest to relax and rejuvenate yourself arriving late night/early morning .
Enjoy a traditional Bengali baul music onboard this evening. Arrive Mangaldweep and moor for the night.
MANGALDWEEP - SERAMPORE
DAY 2
Enjoy the breakfast onboard and get ready for a special Holi celebration party.The crew makes preparation of Holi celebrations with organic Gulals and splendid Pichkari, as well as celebrations with flowers where scented petals of marigold and rose are utilised for playing Holi as Radha and Krishna used to celebrate in Brij. Around noon the ship sets sail to Serampore – a pre-colonial city on the west bank of the Hooghly River. It was part of Danish India under the name Frederiknagore from 1755 to 1845. On reaching there, walk by the Danish Tavern – a heritage and restored building currently served as a café and lodging, church & other Government buildings.Enjoy a live musical band on board this evening while sailing down to Kolkata arriving late night/early morning after the Ban tides in to the Jetty.

This morning we disembark after breakfast and proceed for onward travel.
